Dirndles & Lederhosen get passengers in the mood for Munich’s annual event

flybmi passengers travelling to Munich this September will be treated to a traditional Bavarian welcome, as the airline celebrates Oktoberfest onboard.

For the duration of Munich’s famous beer festival, this year taking place from 22 September to 7 October 2018, flybmi flights to and from Munich from Bristol will get customers in the spirit of Oktoberfest before they have even arrived.

Cabin crew aboard Munich flights will be wearing a traditional Bavarian dress, including lederhosen for men and dirndls for women.

Oktoberfest is Germany’s biggest annual festival of beer, showcasing some 545 stalls selling everything from beers and wines to food and gifts. Visitors could even pick up a personal costume to join in the fun with the flybmi crew for the return journey! The event is open all day every day.

Fares to Munich start from £107 one way from Bristol. As well as a generous 23kg of hold baggage being included in the ticket price, other advantages of travelling with flybmi this autumn include:

  • Complimentary in-flight drinks and snacks
  • Free airport or online check-in
  • Allocated leather seating in a comfortable 2:1 formation meaning no middle seat!
