What are the excess baggage rules?

All passengers travelling on a flybmi Sale, Classic or ClassicPlus fares are entitled to check in one item of baggage weighing up to 23kg as well as one item of hand baggage (see above).

If you are travelling on an Executive fare, you can check in up to two bags, with a maximum combined weight of 46kg and carry two pieces of hand baggage to the airport (see above).

Passengers can pay for excess baggage at the departing airport or alternatively you can pay via our Customer Contact Centre:

Extra luggage can be added via the Manage My Booking section of the website up to four hours in advance of travel for a small fee of £50/€57 (non refundable) for each additional bag weighing 23kg.

Additional bags can be booked via the call centre/travel agent for a set fee or at airports for £100/€114 each way, and sports equipment for £50/€57 online and £100/€114 each way and non refundable.

Please note excess baggage is charged at a rate of £10/€15 per kilo or local currency equivalent and is non refundable. These items are carried subject to availability.
