bmi regional operate a number of flights on a code share basis – where the flight can have a flight number beginning with ‘bm’, ‘LH’ or ‘SN’.

If you are flying on a bmi regional ticket, with the flight number beginning with the letters ‘bm’, you can check-in on flybmi.com or at the airport.

Hand Baggage

Customers who purchase travel on a flight with another airline may be subject to the baggage policy and other terms and conditions of the airline operating the first flight in their itinerary.

Check-in Baggage

Please be aware that the hand and hold baggage allowance offered by our flight partners may differ from the bmi regional allowances shown on our website. Again, please visit www.lh.com or www.brusselsairlines.com before traveling to find out about their checked-in baggage allowances.

Only customers on connecting flights with itineraries issued on a single ticket, with one booking reference, are entitled to qualify for the through check-in service (subject to minimum connection times). This ruling applies to all codeshare connecting flights. This means that passengers with connecting journeys using separate tickets are not eligible for the facility of the through check-in service, or, the through tagging of baggage service.

If you are flying from Frankfurt or Munich, remember to go to the Lufthansa terminal and check-in desk even if your flight number begins with the letters ‘bm’.

If you wish to change the booking you booking on a codeshare partner airline, you must contact their call centres. These numbers are available on www.lh.com or www.brusselsairlines.com

Children travelling alone on codeshare flights

If a child is travelling on a partner or code share operated flight, such as Lufthansa Airlines or Brussels Airlines operated flight – where the flight can have a flight number beginning with ‘LH’ or ‘SN’ you must contact their call centre seperately to bmi regional. These numbers are available on www.lh.com or www.brusselsairlines.com. You will be notified if your trip involves a partner operated flight before completing your booking.
