Shorthaul flights to and from Heathrow (single cabin)
On our shorthaul flights to and from London Heathrow to the UK and Ireland we offer a single Economy cabin with two service offerings; Flexible Economy and Economy. The service is applicable to the following destinations:
- Amsterdam (route ends 27 March 2010)
- Aberdeen
- Belfast City
- Dublin
- Edinburgh
- Glasgow
- Hanover
- Manchester
Flexible Economy
Flexible Economy is designed to make life easier for the busy traveller and comes with all the benefits you expect from bmi at an affordable price.
Flexible Economy customers on breakfast flights pre 0930, will be offered a hot panini (choice meat or vegetarian) and muffin, plus a range of drinks and snacks. On flights post 0930, customers will be offered a sandwich (choice of meat or vegetarian) plus a range of drinks and snacks.
Economy
Flights to and from Heathrow offer a selection of fresh sandwiches, savoury and sweet snacks plus hot, cold and alcoholic drinks available to purchase. Customers can enjoy our meal deal offers, plus we also carry a selection of gifts onboard. Please view our latest inflight menu
Shorthaul flights to and from Heathrow (two cabin)
Business Class
Business Class is offered on our shorthaul route from Heathrow to Vienna. bmi flights to Vienna start 28 March 2010. Customers can expect:
- Complimentary bar service
- Hot breakfast served with fresh orange juice on early morning flights
- Hot meals are available for lunch and dinner and snacks are available throughout the morning and afternoon
Economy
Economy customers will be offered a selection of fresh sandwiches, savoury and sweet snacks plus hot, cold and alcoholic drinks available to purchase from our inflight menu. Shorthaul regional flights (single cabin)
All flights from our regional airports with bmi Regional offer complimentary inflight refreshments.
Business
Menus include traditional English breakfast or filled croissant with freshly squeezed orange juice on early morning flights. Snacks are available mid-morning and afternoon with hot or cold meals available for lunch and dinner.
Economy
Complimentary refreshments appropriate to the time of day are served.
Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and Asia
Business Class
Customers will be offered champagne or orange juice before take-off. Our new menus offer a choice of starter, hot entrée and dessert using seasonal British food that have great flavour and provenance. A selection of fine wines are available from our wine list.
From 20:30 everyday, customers on night flights to Moscow from London Heathrow will be able to dine in our flagship lounge, The Great British Lounge, in Terminal 1 prior their flight, giving them the time to relax and sleep onboard. In addition to our Lounge Dining, once onboard we are pleased to offer customers any selection from our night-time supper menu. See example supper menu
Economy
Customers will enjoy a complimentary meal with a choice of hot entrée and bar service.
Saudi Arabia and Cairo
Business Class
On flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Cairo operated on our A330 aircraft, customers can look forward to the sort of service normally found in first class. Customers can choose from a selection of modern and international cuisine akin to the very best restaurant food. On services to Saudi Arabia food is prepared by a fully qualified onboard chef.
Premium Economy
Our Premium Economy service is available on our flights to and from Cairo until 27 March 2010. Customers will be offered an excellent choice of fine modern cuisine together with a complimentary bar service and pre-take off aperitif.
Economy
Customers have a choice of fine modern cuisine with a complimentary bar service.
Special meals
Special meals can be requested on all bmi midhaul and longhaul flights and bmi Regional business fares. All meals must be requested no later than 24 hours prior to departure. Requests for kosher meals should be made no later than 48 hours prior to the departure. Find out more about special meal requests
