To make sure we keep our No.1 punctuality status and to help flights get away on time, please make sure passengers are aware of the following minimum check-in times:

  • bmi check-in desks open 2 hours before departure. bmi recommend passengers check-in as early as possible, especially if they have luggage.
  • Generally, check-in desks close 35 minutes before departure.  Passengers who present themselves after check-in has closed will not be able to board the flight.
  • Group bookings must arrive at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Passengers on connecting flights at London Heathrow who are travelling with hold baggage should note the following minimum connection times, or the stated check-in time if this is longer:

Terminal 1 domestic to domestic / domestic to international1hr
