Moscow goes double daily

We are pleased to announce our second daily service to Moscow from the start of the winter 2008 schedule.

This additional service builds on the success of our current daily flights to the Russian capital which launched in October 2006.

Our service to Moscow offers Economy and Business Class cabins providing a high level of inflight comfort and service, similar to that offered on much longer journeys.

More legroom, more comfort

Our Business Class seat pitch is a generous 50 inches, 16 inches more than BA, with a seat width of 21 inches.  The leather seats have a configuration of 2:2.

Business passnegers will enjoy the following service:

  • Priority boarding
  • A welcoming glass of champagne or orange juice 
  • bmi Business Lounge access, where available
  • Luxurious, ergonomically designed seats with 50 inches seat pitch
  • Personal inflight entertainment player with seven inch touch screen
  • A three course menu of modern, international cuisine
  • Advance seat selection at time of booking
  • A selection of newspapers

In Economy passengers can expect a seat pitch of 32 inches with a 3:3 cabin seat configuration, complimentary meal and a bar service.

The new service widens the commercial agreement between bmi and Russian Federation carrier Transaero, which will also increase its daily services between Moscow and London, offering a total of four flights a day in each direction.
