epilepsy and fits
Epilepsy is more alarming for onlookers than for the affected passenger. Stable epileptics may be accepted.
questions, answers and actions:
1. How many fits do you have in the average year?
- More than two – Certificate of Fitness to Fly required and proceed to next question
- Two or less – Accept, but still proceed to next question
2. Will someone who knows about epilepsy accompany you?
- Yes or No – Ensure that the Captain and Flight Supervisor are informed that there is an epileptic passenger travelling. This is done by the reservations helpdesk who inform our crewing department.
