TRA - ticket replacement authority

Agencies wishing to set up a TRA must follow the following procedures:

To raise a TRA - you would need to call the trade helpline. We would need the following information at the time you call to set up the replacement.

  • MCO/MPD - nil value
  • IATA number
  • Agent reference
  • original ticket numbers
  • original date of issue
  • the fare and fare basis
  • tax total

The replacement ticket will be set up for collection from the airport of departure.

Please note: The  MCO/MPD must be nil value. The TRA must be filled in for the full ticket value including tax.

The Agent is responsible for completing the TRA and sending the document into bmi BSP department.  TRA's are available from BSP - the helpline is unable to supply this paperwork.

Please remember any tickets issued outside the UK, the MCO/MPD should be in the local currency.  Also please remember this is for 'TOD ONLY' we are unable to send out tickets set up with a TRA.
