Pets travelling within the UK, between the UK & Ireland or on international flights departing from the UK.

If you plan to travel with or without your pet, you simply need to book the pet with the cargo planning team. Your pet will travel in the hold of the aircraft. The charges for this service will be advised when booking. The animal must be carried in a suitable pet carrier (your vet can advise you of a suitable type).

Your pet will need to be delivered and picked-up from our cargo warehouses at origin and destination. In order to complete your booking the cargo planning team will require the following information:

  • Name, address and telephone number of the person delivering your pet to our warehouse
  • Name, address and telephone number of the person picking-up your pet from our warehouse
  • The length, width and height of the pet carrier
  • The combined weight of your pet and the pet carrier
For more information or to make a booking contact bmi cargo planning on +44 (0) 844 243 0600.
