Cargo Services Delivery Coordinator

What does the job involve?

be responsible for the delivery of service across the network,  by receiving the daily planned load and ensure all cargo travels as planned and all internal and external suppliers meet their obligations.
to work in conjunction with other members of the cargo operations team to ensure that all bases are operating efficiently and in line with the agreed SLAs / procedures.
 

What are the requirements?

There is no minimum or no maximum age limit although the mandatory retirement age is 65
Qualifications: minimum 4 GCSEs at grades A - C in Maths and English or the equivalent (NVQ level 2/grade 1 CSE only). Certificates must be presented at interview or before employment

Computer literate to include Word, Excel and Outlook
Cargo Security Course
Ramp Driving Licence
Should be familiar with all ULD dimensions and weight limits, and lower-deck cargo hold sizes and layout on all aircraft operated by bmi.
Able to deal with all situations under pressure
Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with confident telephone manner.
Ability to work quickly and accurately within a very busy, noisy environment.
Excellent communication skills, customer focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Applicants must hold a 10 year British or European passport before employment OR have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK in your own right, with the freedom to travel throughout the EU, as well as any relevant visas 
A good standard of fluency in the English language, spoken and written

What hours does this position work?
rotating shift pattern covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is offered?

A competitive starting salary which is presently £16,432.00 per annum
London Heathrow weighting is paid at a rate of £2,838.00 per annum
Shift pay premium dependent on which shift is worked.
Salary review each year and pay scales dependent on performance
20 days paid holiday plus 8 days in lieu of bank holidays
After a qualifying period you will be entitled to concessionary travel
