Travelling from the airport

Copenhagen Airport is a sprawling building with 3 terminals (there's a free shuttle bus to get you around the complex if you're passing through). Transport options are varied and you can travel onward by bus, metro, train or taxi. Car rental is also available in Terminals 1 and 3. The Øresund Bridge connects Copenhagen Airport with Sweden and you can travel across via car, train or bus.

Book an extended stay in Copenhagen

Relax at the opulent Nimb Hotel, it's the place to stay in Copenhagen. Overlooking Tivoli Gardens and just two minutes from the central station, each of the 13 individually-designed rooms is pure romance. Don't leave without buying some of the divine chocolates and cheeses that are made at the on-site Nimb Dairy - delicious. A good budget option is the Hotel Nebo. Just across from the central station it comes with breakfast included. Do make sure you book an en-suite room though as some bathrooms are shared.

Enjoy some ‘molecular gastromomy' at the unique Noma restaurant (93 Strandgade). With beautifully presented, artistic cuisine it's a dining experience to remember.

See Denmark at it’s best

To see the real Copenhagen, jump on a segway. Segway tours run daily from Langelinie near the Little Mermaid.  Adult price is 399dkk and 199dkk for children (12-16 years) and we guarantee it will be the most fun you've ever had in two hours. Take a stroll though the King's Garden, the oldest park in the city, it's a hive of activity in the summer. Look out for the interesting sculptures.

You can't come to Denmark without visiting the world famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park and pleasure garden. Ride on the world's oldest roller coaster and ferris wheel. Or, head north to Dyrehavsbakken; it's the oldest surviving amusement park in the world. Entrance is free to both parks.

So, grab your coat and jump on a plane to cool Copenhagen. With frequent flights, bmi is the only choice, reserve your seats today and go and play.
