Additional bag charge of £15 per item for customers travelling on economy S class fares and below. Regardless of the number of bags, if the combined weight is over 20kg, £10 per kg fee applies

Important Information

In other currencies, the above charges may fluctuate depending on the exchange rate at the time of calculation.

If you are travelling on non-bmi operated (codeshare) flights, or connecting to a codeshare flight, excess baggage charges will apply and are calculated on an individual route sector basis. Please contact our Reservations Centre on +44 (0) 844 8484 888 for further advice.

If your journey has been booked on a single ticket, but requires that you go via another location, for example, Edinburgh to Berlin via London Heathrow, you will only be charged once going outbound and once coming back inbound. If you choose to book the same journey but on separate tickets i.e. Edinburgh to London Heathrow and then London Heathrow to Berlin, you will be charged £9 / €11 per kg for your first sector and £11 / €13 for the second sector of your journey.
