This question has been introduced at the ‘payment’ stage of the booking process to help us understand more clearly the purpose of travel of our customers. This is an optional question but we very much appreciate your completion of this question as it will help us to further tailor flybmi.com to your requirements.

advanced booking of exceptional items of baggage

You can pre-book and pay online for exceptional items of baggage including:

• golfing equipment (includes pair of golf shoes and one golf bag with clubs)
• skiing equipment/snowboards (includes one pair of skis/poles/boots or snowboard and boots) 
• fishing equipment (includes one tackle box, rucksack or backpack, anglers basket, one rod bag or box) 
• bicycles (must be suitably packed)

These items are charged at the usual rate of £15/€24 per item for each sector of the journey and will be carried subject to space on the aircraft. This facility will only display for applicable aircraft. There are exceptions depending upon the type of fare purchased and/or route. See here for more information. 

You will be able to select the items you will be travelling with at the ‘passenger details' stage of the booking process. A summary of any items selected will be shown at the ‘payment' and ‘confirmation' stages. It is advisable that you take a copy of your confirmation with you to the airport as proof of including these items within your booking.

Exceptional items of baggage can be added and paid for after booking, through the ‘manage your booking' facility.
