Flights to Glasgow arrive at Glasgow International Airport (Paisley, 00 44 870 040 0008) which is 9.5 miles west of the city centre. A taxi to the city centre costs from £18 and takes 20 minutes. First and Glasgow Flyer operate regular buses to the city centre. They cost from £2.90 and take up to 50 minutes.

Glasgow Art Fair

Taking residence in Glasgow’s city centre for four days this March, the pavilions of the Glasgow Art Fair – now in its 15th year – conceal some unexpected artistic finds. Open to all - from the casual browser through to hardcore collector - Glasgow’s Art Fair includes work from every imaginable discipline, from over 1000 artists. Standing alongside the 46 exhibitor stands, a wide range of work from art-related organizations and charities will also be displayed.
