Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport
(00 49 89 975 00), situated 17 miles outside the city. From there, take either the S1 or S8 line on the Munich suburban railway to reach the centre of town. It costs about €8-€9 depending on how far you go. Taxis (€50) are readily available outside the arrivals hall.
