Why queue up at the Check-in Desk when you can check yourself in using our quick and easy-to-use Self Check-in Machines?
Self Check-in Machines are available at most bmi airports within the UK and Ireland. They close 30 minutes prior to departure for UK Domestic and Western European shorthaul flights, and 45 minutes prior to departure for all other routes.
All passengers can use this service, regardless of whether you are travelling on a paper ticket or e-ticket.
Economy ticket-holders travelling on a shorthaul route must use either a Self Check-in Machine, where available, or our Online Check-in service.
Business or Economy Flexible ticket-holders, and Gold or Silver Diamond Club members have the option of using either a Self Check-in Machine or the manned Check-in Desks.
Using our Self Check-in Machines is simple:
- To retrieve your booking, insert either your ticket, the credit card you used to make the booking with or enter your booking reference and surname. You can also scan your passport or your printed booking confirmation page
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Your boarding card and receipt will then be printed
- Take your documents from the machine and proceed to departure gate or lounge
- If you have bags to check in then proceed to a bmi Fast Bag Drop, where available, or a bmi Check-in Desk.
