bmi Regional maintains its position as the UK's most punctual airline

Latest performance data from the CAA puts bmi Regional top again

The latest official statistics by the Civil Aviation Authority show that bmi Regional is again the most punctual, scheduled airline operating from UK airports.

The data from www.flightontime.info, putting bmi Regional first out of 35 scheduled airlines, shows that 87.7 per cent of the airline's 3,762 flights between January and March 2010 departed on time.

The exceptional performance by bmi Regional occurred despite the UK experiencing some of its worst ever winter weather earlier this year, which hampered the operations of many other airlines.

bmi Regional was named the most punctual airline operating from UK airports during 2009, retaining the number one position for the fifth consecutive year.
